It's June already here in the Philippines and it means schools are officially Open. Being part of Brigada Eskwela a week earlier is a good experience for me but sadly, schools are not immune from corrupt officials. I just hope that kids returning to their respective schools wont waste any opportunity available at a moment like this in a well-known avenue in Manila (Claro M. Recto Avenue) where you can score second-hand books (mostly textbooks) at a very affordable price ranging from 10 Pesos to a hundred. Photo courtesy of the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
